Somebody said red and black recalls his blood. Does remind you of blood? And red, black and silver or red black and gold? And I think that would be a good idea sillhouette to paint bamboo in a dark red Wall me if I'm going for a darkish Asian theme? I will also have Japanese fans on the wall my Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling.

Silver is a good choice with red and black as the cool tone and a short distance in the shadow of the white color gives the best contrast in black. If you have more than one orange-red color (v cool toned red with more blue undertones) yellow undertones work well with gold. Be careful not too much gold with red and black, because it tend to look more like a 80's decor, we finally got rid of most at home. depending on how you are going with the rest of the room, I I think painted bamboo is a great idea. If your theme is Asian, make sure to keep clean lines and minimalist decor to follow the subject more accurately.
