What do you think one of my favorite classic poems?
"Oh, my luve is like a red, red rose, this is a new sprung in June, my luve is like the melodie That's sweetly played in tune. As fair art thou, my Bonnie lass, so deep in luve am, and they will luve still, my dear, Till a 'seas gang dry. To a "sea gang dry, my dear, and rocks melt Wi "sun: OI will love more, baby While the sands o 'life shall run. and tariffs, they weel, my only luve, and tariffs they weel awhile! And I will come again, my luve, although have been ten thousand miles "-? (I know that the poet, I read several of his poems. Tip: classical poetry, and not American!) 1. Who is the poet? 2. How do you feel while reading this poem? Can you say what dialect you use? 3. Did you know which other lyrics he wrote that annual sings around the world?
Author: Robert Burns song sung year: old days talk: How Scots feel when read the poem: I felt poignant sense loyalty to one person, regardless distance or cost, or better bad. Something missing in our day and age. It is distressing that many this day and age feel relationships and marriages are disposeable; really tragic and sad.
