Today's modern gay male is in touch with fashion, trends and looking the best he can. Today's modern gay male sets trends. It is chic to copy much of the trends gay men set in today's world. One such trend is manscaping, which has its roots, no pun intended here, in the gay community. If you are a gay man new to manscaping this article is for you. To actively practice manscaping is one question every gay man at some point faces in his life. Those who practice no form of manscaping are often called bears. Bears believe in growing all body hair wildly, with abandon, and never even bother to trim body hairs. Manscaping is great for things other then sheer appearance and sex appeal. Manscaping is a great means and method of limiting bad body odor. This is because the hairs on the body cause us to heat up, and hence sweat more. Also these hairs collect dirt, grime, bacteria and body fluids. Shampoo is not designed to clean body hair, as the protein bonding in body and pubic hair is much more tightly knit. Removing this excess body hair allows the body to be cooler in the summers heat, and gets rid of collection points for contaminants. Most men or their partners report that after manscaping that there is a great reduction in body odor, and that the body is easier to keep clean.
When manscaping you have a few choices in how to go about performing it. Laser hair removal and waxing are both expensive means of this. Waxing hurts very bad. Laser hair removal is very expensive and the visits needed to complete it are pretty high. Trimming offers a cheap and fast method of manscaping, but still leaves behind the hair. Shaving is great, but can lead to razor bumps and razor burn if you choose the wrong materials to manscape with. When shaving for the purposes of manscaping, use a good lubricant, one with moisturizers, anti bacterial agents and anti fungal agents in it. This is because shaving damages the skin after a shave, so moisturizing the skin after promotes healing. Anti bacterial agents and anti fungal agents remove any bacteria and fungus that can get inside your pores and hair follicles. If bacteria or fungus gets inside the pores or hair follicles, a razor bump will be the end result, as the body wages a war on the foreign material now inside the body. Razor bumps can be rather unpleasant to look at, as well as be painful. Choose a good razor to shave also, one with three or more blades to it, so that you get the best cut possible with the least wear and tear on your skin. If you do this then manscaping with a razor will be much easier.
