Still Life from 1940's signed Klein. Has anyone heard of her/him?

Bought framed oil of straw-wrapped wine "fiasco" with fruit and pine cone on draped table that have been told was painted in the 1940's. Upon cleaning found the signature "Klein" in upper left hand corner. Anyone heard of him/her?
