Painting Mother Child

Would you take your god-daughters mother to court for her staying with her for a few weeks - JJB ruled for GM?
God mother took mother to court for keeping goddaughter for 3 weeks and wants mother to pay 300.00, mother gave child money and child came home with money, but the judge agreed with god-mother and said she is not a fairy god-mother, aren't god-mothers extensions of the mother. Well Joe Brown who really can't judge, judged for the godmother - never go on joe brown show, it is all a scam and he paints his hair black and has an enormous amount of make up on - he and Judy are on the same set.
Well, judge joe brown also has a production fund, which pays out to the claiments who are judged as the "winners". So, it may be a scam, but it's not like the mother actually has to pay. They get their ratings and ad monies, and the "winners" go home with a little pocket money, and the losers, who I'm sure signed some sort of a release, get somewhat humilated on national T.V. If they didn't want that risk, they shouldn't have taken it, and stayed within the traditional court system. As for your case, I agree that it sounds like the godmother was being a little petty, but why did this child stay there for three weeks? Maybe the mother had a history of being irresponsible, or using the godmother as a nanny service. If they had a contract, then I hope it was upheld. But the godmother shouldn't be used as free childcare. Traditionally, a godmother takes custody of a child if a parent dies or becomes incapacitated. THey also can act as a moral guide or mentor throughout the child's life. What you describe in your question sounds like an odd arrangement, esp if the godmother didn't realize that it was to be for three weeks. If they did agree upon a specific time period, and had some sort of contract however, then it should be upheld, and if that means godmother gets $300 then the ruling was fair, if that wasn't the agreement, then it wasn't a fair ruling, and the godmother was just being petty.
