What are they mounted canvas art tasks involving a single letter as a subject?
I was only on a Google hunt for information directionless about what I take to be individual projects or studies typography that I sometimes see students toting to campus or climbing proudly on a wall. Pieces feature the single letters of the alphabet, or in the upper or lower case, black and white printer paper (although I may have seen some applications liquid ink in various media), mounted on black backboards. I guess I just wanted to understand, order name, and parameters of these tasks.
In my school these tasks are all hand skills. They are usually made my first year Communication Design students, because in their first year in the study program they typography and paper format. I'm sure exactly what name this type of task may be, but I know that your goal is to practice hand skills. Trying to create an interesting piece with a single letter form. And they must be perfect.
