Costa Rica is a dream destination for many travelers. Sea, sun and sandy beaches are the country and even the rainy season is not enough to refrain from visiting this tropical paradise. Anyone looking to relax on the beach, the sunshine and relaxed atmosphere that prevails in pretty much the throughout the country, and enjoy the beautiful nature in this magnificent country parks will find what they are looking for in Costa Rica. But above all, Costa Rica, with its beautiful beaches and majestic waves, is a paradise for surfers who travel from around the world to try and tame breaks.
Costa Rica is teeming with great places to surf, but here is a selection of the best in the center of the peninsula of Costa Rica, where you can be sure to find perfect waves and laid-back atmosphere of the seaside town surfer to relax and worry-free vacation. One of the most famous sites, beloved by hippies "from the 1960 and 1970, Playa Tamarindo is without doubt the best place to surf in Costa Rica. This small town used to be a laid-back beach gathering place and surfers, a few days doing nothing. It began after the premiere of the film's famous surfer, Endless Summer II, most of which are Playa Tamarindo.
In recent years, however, became more resort with many North Americans and Europeans are traveling there to the famous "nostalgic" atmosphere of Playa Tamarindo. If what you are looking for a beach resort where you can enjoy the beach and the scenery while on night clubs, shops and restaurants at hand, this is the place for you.
Not far from Playa Tamarindo, you'll find wonderful beaches, which remained untouched by the huge flocks of tourists. Playa Avellana and Playa Negra are popular among Internet users because they provide a coherent waves, and were also presented in a classic Movie Endless Summer II. Located just 15 kilometers from Tamarindo, but can be used by a small dirt road, which explains why could not be isolated and unknown to the crowds.
Continue south along the Pacific coast and will reach Playa Guiones, another great surfing place in Costa Rica.
