What is involved in reproduction make the museum?
I play Frances Hodgkins watercolor painting entitled "Ayesha" I would like to find a reproduction is hand-painted or not?
Copies are printouts made from the original (usually by lithography), look at it closely with a magnifying glass to be able to decipher the shades - a kind of model made of different size dots. In many rare cases, a printout will be colored hand, but it is unlikely that the Museum, except if it cost a significant amount.
